How much does building restoration cost in St. Petersburg?
It depends entirely on the building, the scope, and the condition. A façade inspection typically runs in the low thousands. A full concrete restoration and repaint on a 9-story condo can run into seven figures. The honest answer is we will not give you a number until we have walked the building.
How long does a restoration project take?
A façade inspection takes one to three days on-site, with a written report two to three weeks later. Concrete repair and repaint on a typical 8 to 10-story condo takes 4 to 9 months depending on scope, weather, and resident coordination.
Do we need a structural engineer?
If your building is three or more habitable stories and a condo or co-op, yes — a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect must perform your Milestone Inspection. Barrett coordinates directly with engineers we trust.
Will residents have to leave during the work?
Almost never. We phase the work, communicate the schedule clearly, post notices on the floors we are working, and protect balconies, windows, and walkways.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Florida-licensed general contractor, license CBC1266604. Fully insured with general liability and workers' compensation.
Do you handle 40-year recertification?
Yes. We coordinate the engineering inspection with a licensed Florida engineer, manage documentation submitted to Pinellas County or the City of St. Petersburg, and execute every repair identified in the report.
